Just a quick update on the planned St. George’s Earthquake Aid Party that is being held next Friday (31st August) at our home in Surco. Please bring along any food or drink donations so that we can hand them over to Linda Hewitt of ACAP (American & Canadian Association of Peru) to distribute to the victims of the earthquake in the south of Peru.

The event will start from 8pm & we plan to have Hot Toddies & Mulled Wine for those who need a bit of warming up. Please also bring a bottle of your favorite tipple. We are also asking you to help us with the snacks this month so bring a finger plate of food that you would like to share with the others. This is an unusual St. George’s occasion this month as the main focus is to try & get donations for others in need & your help will be gratefully received.

Again, there are a number of friends who have yet to confirm & I ask you to email me back with your response, one way or another. So far we have 36 friends who have confirmed so I look forward to seeing a few more replies.
